Bouncing Ball Lecture ... again

Apologies for the lack of posts lately, I've been rather busy at work.

I recently noticed that the blog I created for the bouncing ball lecture I did back in Dundee last year doesn't work very well on some computers so I've created a html version. It can be found here -

http://www.brendanbody.co.uk/bb_lecture/index.html

It's my take on a lecture shown to me by my animation supervisor, Michael Eames, when I first arrived at Framestore. He received it from Phil Nibbelink when working on the film Balto, who in turn, was taught this by Disney's Frank Thomas.

Oh, and if anyone knows how to make movies exported from Quicktime pro loop, please let me know.

Thanks for visiting, I'm glad you found the information useful. I've still had a few problems with the movies not playing properly on some computers, let me know if there are any problems and I'll try and fix them.

Hi Brendan.

The videos arent playing on my computer. I tried to play them a few days back, couldnt play them at that time either. Would check back after a few days once again from a different browser to make sure its not because of some browser issue.

Thanx

Hey Chetan,

Thanks for visiting. I'm very sorry that the videos didn't work for you. I'm currently trying to narrow down the source of the problem.

When you check back could you let me know which browser you're using, for me Firefox is a bit dodgy, but Explorer and Safari work OK.

I had a quick look at your blog, great work, looking forward to more.

later,

Brendan

thanks,

Brendan
